Yuzol is always CURIOUS about how things work. He's always meddling his way into stuff that would get him in trouble even though it may of not been his intention. Due to his vast thirst of wanting to know more, he's always open and taking in opportunities that may teach him something new.

Yuzol is more of a visual learner. He would OBSERVE others and obtain a certain amount of knowledge to whatever they're doing even if it’s something he’d probably would not attempt. If you catch him mimicking you, then chances are he reaaaaally wants to do the same task you're performing.

He never bounds himself to a set of rules unless it is “reasonable”; hence, he is FREETHINKING and making decisions based on what he believes is “right”. Unfortunately, his choices are not always the best and may be UNREALISTIC. For instance, he once wanted to build a giant, floating pirate ship that would set sail into outer space. Crazy, right?

When it comes to people, he can be ABRUPT and ROWDY.  He's always confronting them and showing little to no personal space. His nature is derived from his foster parents who had thought him to treat strangers like family which is why he is SLOW to catch the warnings of people’s sentiments especially when they want him to be a few meters apart. Let's not forget that he gets hyperactive when being around them. It’s only until he gets a warning or negative feedback that he tries to calm himself a little. Of course, such calmness doesn’t last very long.

History:

Yuzol was a lost child who found in a forest not far from the residential area belonging to a family of dog hybrids, The Mints.  Concerned for the child’s parents, the Mint family started searching the forest and near by areas. They set out posters and waited weeks for a sign but no one had came to claim the boy. Thus they decided to raise Yuzol with their other two children. Now with an additional family member, the couple found it livelier and busier around the house.   They would dance, sing, and do plays together and made their earnings by fishing and farming.  

The happiness in the household continued until Yuzol started to feel different from his two siblings. Since he was only five back when he was found, he no longer had recollection of his real parents. It was in his belief that he had been born from his two sibling’s mother. Thus, He started questioning the lack of agility and animal features of his own, until he finally decided to ask his “father” the reasons to why he lacked them; Papa dog knowing that such day would come, provided Yuzol with the truth. After he was done, he got two tuffs of the boy's hair and shaped it like ears.

With a soft voice the father said, “Even if we may not know who your parents are, at least you got us, right?  See these on your head? You don’t need to have real ears like us to BE one of us. To me and mom, you’re our real son. I bet your siblings think of you as a real brother too!”   

Feeling relieved and better, Yuzol had no more complains after that and continued doing his best for his family. He would venture out to towns and do all the errands for his mother. He picked up jobs that required him to fish or do small plays. It was a good life as years flew by but once more, the gnawing feeling started to reappear.  Something was missing inside.  

 By this time, he was the only one left in the house. His two siblings were already gone and pursuing their own dreams. He felt like he had to do the same.  So he sat there one day at his table and wrote a list of all the things he could do and couldn’t do. It wasn't until his mother slid a nice looking brochure in front of him that he discovered his answer.

At first he wasn't sure to read it but he had a gut feeling that this was his call. He gingerly picked it up, unsure what it contained. He started to look at it from top to bottom and all around, sniffing it and reading it three times. Surely enough, it had what he sought, a place of his own and the dream job he'd always wished for.

Without further hesitation, Yuzol packed up the next day and bid farewell to his parents with the promise of making them proud with this new life as he set off to aboard the train towards Toffee Town. 

Additional info:  

* He’s fascinated by the idea of pirates. This is thanks to his earlier childhood plays that he had with the Mint family.

* Loves to fish in his pass time. His older sibling had taught him how to do it properly.

* He may not show it but he tends to have a sensitive side when he finds himself stuck in a situation he can’t solve.

* “Treat Strangers like family” is something Yuzol kept to heart because even though he isn’t blood related to the Mint family, he had been accepted in as though he were born as one.

* No personal boundaries? The Mint family is known to be up-close and friendly. They feel no need to push people away or treat them coldly thus they resort to hugging, pats and other humble gestures.  It’s their own personal way of saying “you’re family and not a stranger”.  Since Yuzol was raised by them, his manners reflect this tradition.

* Mystery of Parents: To this day, there is no information of Yuzol’s parents or how Yuzol got separated but thanks to his cries, he was heard and found by the Mint family.

* Mint’s residential: It is said to be located near a forest and an ocean. A lively cool place and not far from towns that provide goods and services. 

* Yuzol’s Siblings:  Mill [older] and Kouzi [“middle”]. Mill is currently 26 and Kouzi is 21.
